Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year!

The staff at Horace Mann Middle School are excited to welcome our new students to HMMS and welcome back our students who are returning for another year. 

Schedule pick up days are Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 10:00am-4:00pm and Monday, August 11, 2025, from 1:00pm-7:00pm. 
We are asking families to schedule a time on PTCFast for schedule pick up.

Families should arrive at Horace Mann Middle School  (13th Street Main Entrance #9) at their scheduled time.

Prior to arrival, parents need to complete our Online Registration’s Annual Update process.  This update is located within your Infinite Campus Parent Portal, and it will have you review emergency contact information, health information and give permission for multiple items.  If it is not completed before coming in for schedule pick up, we will have computers available for completion. The Annual Update will be open starting July 22, 2025.

Schedule pick up consists of fee payment, student service, health services, food service, and transportation services. Students will not have access to classrooms or lockers due to construction. 

School officially begins on Tuesday, September 2nd at 7:31am.  Students begin going to Advisory at 7:25am.  Breakfast is served at 7:10am and playground supervision also begins at 7:10am.  If you are dropping off your student, please use the 13th Street entrance.

We look forward to seeing our students and families at our schedule pickup.  We also look forward to seeing everyone at Open House on Tuesday, August 26th from 4:00 – 6:00.  You will be able to access your locker at that time.
