The Wausau School Board has approved graduation dates for our 4 high schools: Wausau East, Wausau West, WAVE, and EEA.
I love working for Wausau Police and I’m very excited for this opportunity to work with kids, staff, and parents as a School Resource Officer. I took a very roundabout path to getting into the schools, but I don’t think I would have wanted things to work out any differently.
We are in contact with Wausau Youth Hockey, the organization that uses the Warjacks name, to find out if we can even consider it as a mascot option. If it is an option for the district, we will bring the Warjacks mascot idea to our focus groups (the next step in our multi-step process to identify a new mascot) for further discussion and consideration.
Chet Skippy, who owns Chet's Blueberry Farm out of Stevens Point, dropped off 1,000 pounds of fresh, locally-grown blueberries for our students!
Over the course of her career, she taught at both G.D. Jones and Rib Mountain elementaries. She also worked as a literacy coordinator and a tennis coach -- even running an after school tennis program at Rib Mountain Elementary. After retiring from the District, Theresa was elected to the Wausau School Board -- where she served for 10 years.
