Who should attend? 7th or 8th grade students interested in robotics, oceanography, science or engineering.
What? Remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) are robotic tools used to perform many underwater tasks, such as repairs, salvage work, ocean and freshwater science, and exploration. Participants will learn the science behind ROVs, and basic soldering and wiring. Two classes will be on the pool deck to practice piloting an ROV and complete a mission.
When? 3:00-4:15 PM on WEDNESDAYS for 6 weeks - January 18 - February 22
Where? Room 115 Shop & Pool Deck (January 25th & February 22nd)
